Bangladesh is one of the most disaster-prone countries in the world.

River flooding and erosion, cyclones, drought and earthquakes cause widespread suffering and with every year, climate change increases their frequency and intensity.

This documentary tells the story of the many challenges facing the people of Bangladesh, and explores some of the humanitarian work being undertaken by international aid agencies, collaborating and co-ordinating their efforts for the first time.

The National Alliance for Risk Reduction and Response Initiatives (NARRI) is a consortium of 10 international NGOs in Bangladesh. Since 2010, they have been implementing the Disaster Preparedness ECHO programme (DIPECHO) to help communities prepare and protect themselves from natural disasters.

This film follows 4 stories where NARRI has helped individuals and communities to prepare for disasters.
